Very close to Cyclades, you may find another tight group of islands called Sporades; it includes Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos and Skyros along with several smaller ones.

North Aegean islands composite, which is situated close to the west coast of Turkey contains Chios, Ikaria, Samos, Lesvos, Lemnos, Agios Efstratios and Fournoi. Dodecannese compound on the other hand is large and rather loose. It is situated on the eastern side of Greece in between Turkey and Crete and it contains Rhodes, Kos, Kasos, Karpathos, Kastelorizo, Pserimos, Leros, Patmos, Nisyros, Tilos, Lipsi, Kalymnos, Astypalaia and Agathonisi and other smaller ones.
